Plant Pathology – Hu Lab
Sean Bloszies is a researcher studying soil and agriculture in Shuijin Hu’s lab. He seeks to understand how to make more efficient use of fertilizers while decreasing greenhouse gas emissions from soil and losses of nutrients to waterways. Currently he is studying the role farm management and soil properties play in driving microbial communities responsible for production of nitrous oxide, a powerful greenhouse gas.
