Household Pest and Wood Destroying Insect training and information for pest control operators (PCO), extension agents, EFNEP (Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program) aides, and householders. Pesticide Certification training schools, and material development for professional and commercial Structural Pest control personnel. Education activities to control pests of stored commodities with emphasis on farm-stored grain. Field trials to develop early insect detection methodology to incorporate into stored grain IPM programs. Development of training materials to enchance 4-H Entomology. Dissemination to Extension 4-H agents and adult volunteers and public school teachers to stimulate interest and understanding of arthropods among young people. Field trials to evaluate and demonstrate efficacy and practicality of candidate farm and home pest control technology.
