Bio
I specialize in beneficial endophytic fungi specifically those in the Epichloë genus. My
PhD projects look at Epichloë in forage applications, disease assays for Epichloë–
infected wheat, and genomic assays of secondary metabolites produced by this fungus.
I am passionate about plant-microbe interactions and how we can use these to cope
with an ever-changing world. When I am not in the lab, I like to sew, crochet, read, and
travel.
