Dr. Alexandra Kravchenko<\/b><\/p>\n

Dr. Kravchenko is renewed for her work in micro- to macro-scale biogeochemical processes involved in soil carbon and nitrogen cycling. As a Professor at Michigan State University in the Department of Plant, Soil and Microbial Sciences, she leads the\u00a0Kravchenko Lab<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Her research focuses on understanding the role of the interactions between land use and management, soil properties ( including soil pores in micro-scale processes) and topography to explore soil carbon sequestration and greenhouse gas emissions across agricultural landscapes. In 2022, Sasha Kravchenko served as a Chair of Soil Physics and Hydrology Division of Soil Science Society of America.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
