Position Description:

The successful candidate will teach courses across the curriculum in both the ABET-accredited Biological Engineering (BE) degree program and the Agricultural & Environmental Technology (AET) degree program. Potential courses include hydrology, water management, hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, geomatics, and introduction to software tools for engineering design and land management.

This position will be key to training the next generation of BE and AET graduates to fill significant future employment demands in the environmental and ecological engineering fields. The position has the potential to interface with a number of local government agencies and consulting firms in the Research Triangle Park area to better connect the BAE program to groups that hire our students. This position will have opportunities to collaborate on academic initiatives with multiple departments in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) and the College of Engineering (COE).
