New Job Openings Announced in ARE; Now Accepting Applications

Two new job openings demonstrate the department’s commitment to its entrepreneurship program and helping farmer’s boost their financial literacy and in turn profitability.

The Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics is seeking an Agricultural Entrepreneurship Lecturer for its Entrepreneurship course sequence. Now an academic minor, the Agricultural Entrepreneurship Program is for students who want to learn about new venture development in a highly facilitated environment. The ideal applicant will enjoy teaching and advising undergraduate students.

The Farm Management and Tax Extension Associate will be responsible for assisting Extension stakeholders with farm management and taxation questions as well as contributing to the NC State Tax Schools offered at the McKimmon Center. The job duties also include teaching 2 classes per year to students in undergraduate agriculture classes.
