Nobel Best Student Presentation<\/strong> at the 34th Annual Meeting of the North Carolina Chapter of the American Fisheries Society in Durham, NC. This honor was extra special as it was presented by Dr. Nobel himself.<\/p>\n<p>Clayton presented his research on &#8220;Assessing the acute toxicity of manganese to freshwater mussels&#8221; and is co-supervised by <a href=\"https:\/\/cals.ncsu.edu\/applied-ecology\/people\/greg-cope\/\">Greg Cope<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This award means I am headed I&#8217;m the right direction with my studies and research,&#8221; says Lynch. &#8220;It means that I have been accepted into the scientific community as a professional.
