Applied Ecology will host biweekly, in-person seminars in 2125 Williams Hall<\/a> every other Friday from 11 a.m. to noon unless otherwise noted. <\/strong>Seminars are being organized by Skylar Hopkins<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In-person attendance is highly encouraged. If you are unable to be on NC State campus, you are welcome to join us via zoom<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Writing Accountability Sessions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Due to interest in more frequent social engagement outside of seminars, we are trying something new! In weeks between seminars, you’re invited to join a one hour “writing accountability” session in 123 David Clark Labs<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the first ten minutes, we’ll socialize and prepare beverages\/snacks. Then we’ll do a 20 minute “pomodoro” writing session, where each person works on their specific project\/goals. Then we’ll take another ten minute break for socializing and beverage\/snack refills. Then we’ll do a second 20-minute pomodoro session. This will hopefully be a fun way to interact with your colleagues, learn more about their current projects, AND be productive! You can come to one session or all of them, with no pressure to sign up in advance. (We’ll troubleshoot if space becomes an issue.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sessions will be at 11 a.m. on alternating Fridays with the Applied Ecology Seminar Series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\t\n\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t
