David Clark Labs Building<\/h3>\n \n\n \t \t

David Clark (Labs) and David Clark Addition house the Department of Biology. It was remodeled in 2005 and the faculty and students have been enjoying brighter more inspiring surroundings ever since. Here you will find many of the biology labs as well as some of the faculty, staff, graduate students and post docs for the Department of Biology. Bostian Hall also houses many of the staff, several lecture halls and student training labs for that department.<\/p>\n\t \t \n

Lake Wheeler Road Field Lab<\/h3>\n \n\n \t \t

The Lake Wheeler Road Field Laboratory offers nearly 1500 acres for teaching, research and extension requests made by NC State faculty. A number of departments in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) make use of this field laboratory, including crop and soil sciences, entomology and plant pathology, animal science, and poultry science. Students from the College of Veterinary Medicine use animals at this site for clinical studies.<\/p>\n\t \t \n

Pamlico Aquaculture Field Lab<\/h3>\n \n\n \t \t

The Pamlico Aquaculture Field Laboratory (PAFL) is located on South Creek near the mouth of the Pamlico River. Special features of the PAFL include multiple sources of fresh, brackish, and full-strength (deep-well) seawater, dormitory (< 10 occupants), 16, 0.1 hectare pond mesocosms, scores of 1,000 and 10,000 gallon fish tanks, hatchery and broodstock building with several recirculating water systems, 300\u2019 pier and boat ramp.<\/p>\n\t \t \n

Yates Mill Aquatic Conservation Laboratory<\/h3>\n \n\n \t \t

The Yates Mill Aquatic Conservation Center (YMACC) was established through renovation of an existing NC State University research wing located at Historic Yates Mill County Park.\u00a0Here, researchers are helping to conserve endangered and threatened aquatic species in North Carolina through research, propagation and public outreach.<\/p>\n\t \t \n

Center for Marine Science Technology<\/h3>\n \n\n \t \t

The North Carolina State University Center for Marine Sciences and Technology (CMAST) is located on Bogue Sound in Morehead City, NC. CMAST was formally established in 1997 and is used for research, field studies and projects by NC State faculty, students, extension specialists, research technicians, and administrative staff.<\/p>\n\t \t \n
