Background

Sharon joins the Tarpy lab bringing a wealth of experience in the private sector, including running her own landscaping business and working in several human resource offices. She has been a great addition to our team in helping out with all projects and processes, but her main charge has been to facilitate our large research collaboration on improving colony health by increasing the reproductive quality of honey bee queens.
