Erin McKenney Recognized With National Outstanding Faculty Advisor Award

Erin McKenney wins faculty advising award

Congratulations to Erin McKenney for being awarded a NADACA’s National Faculty Outstanding Advisor! McKenney was selected as CALS’ New Faculty Advising Award last year, which qualified her for the National Academic Advising Association’s National Outstanding Faculty Advisor Award.

“I invest a lot in my students – both in time to meet in person, and providing support via email conversations, making records of individuals’ interests, and researching / reflecting on ways I can answer their needs and enhance their professional development, “says McKenney “To be seen and recognized for those efforts, in my first year as a tenure-track academic professor, is huge!”

Erin will be recognized this fall with a plaque presented at the Global Awards Ceremony at the NACADA Annual Conference.
