We&#8217;re sad to see you go but thrilled to stay in touch and find out where your journey leads. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here&#8217;s all the information you&#8217;ll need about graduation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"agi-graduation-ceremony\">AGI Graduation Ceremony<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Agricultural Institute is excited for the Fall 2026 graduation ceremony!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ceremony Date:<\/strong> Friday, December 11th. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Time: <\/strong>9:00 am<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Location:<\/strong> Stewart Theatre &#8211; inside Talley Student Union<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the first time, this will be a ticketed event. Please contact your student to learn more about reserving tickets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AGI students have been invited to participate with the other <a href=\"http:\/\/cals.ncsu.edu\">College of Agriculture and Life Science<\/a> students in the in-person, graduation ceremony. Additional information about this ceremony can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/commencement.ncsu.edu\/\">here. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"graduation-announcements\">Graduation Announcements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Graduation announcements are available at the <a href=\"http:\/\/shop.bookstore.ncsu.edu\/ePOS\/form=cat.html&amp;cat=234&amp;store=432\">NC&#160;State University Bookstore<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b>Note: <\/b>You can order custom announcements and purchase the amount you need. Indicate&nbsp;<strong>Agricultural Institute<\/strong> when ordering custom announcements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When ordering custom announcements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In &#8220;Student Info&#8221; under &#8220;Degree 1,&#8221; select &#8220;Associate of Applied Science.&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Major: The student&#8217;s major.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A 3.25-3.499 GPA is considered &#8220;Cum Laude.&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A 3.5-3.749 GPA is &#8220;Magna Cum Laude.&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A 3.75 and above GPA is Summa Cum Laude<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the student is receiving more than one degree, continue with &#8220;Degree 2.&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the &#8220;Ceremony&#8221; section, select &#8220;Agricultural Institute.&#8221; (Do not include the &#8220;All University&#8221; ceremony).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The day and year will be confirmed before printing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"cap-and-gown\">Cap and Gown<\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cals.ncsu.edu\/agricultural-institute\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/37\/2016\/10\/Roman-L-777x1024-e1490371045862.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Graduating students must wear caps and gowns during the ceremony. Students can purchase them&nbsp;at the <a href=\"http:\/\/shop.bookstore.ncsu.edu\/ePOS\/form=cat.html&amp;cat=234&amp;store=432\">NC&#160;State University Bookstore<\/a>. No pre-ordering or pre-fitting for caps and gowns is necessary, but they are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Do not wait until the day of graduation to pick up your cap, gown, and tassel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students must pay for caps, gowns, and tassels at the time of pickup (honor sashes are an additional charge). Graduation apparel pick-up is on the bookstore&#8217;s lower level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"appropriate-attire-for-graduation\">Appropriate Attire for Graduation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Tassel color:<\/strong> White<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cum Laude sash color: <\/strong>White<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Magna Cum Laude sash color: <\/strong>Silver<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Summa Cum Laude:<\/strong> Gold<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Women: <\/strong>Dress, skirt, or dress pants and blouse<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Men: <\/strong>Shirt, tie, and dress slacks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"rsvp-for-graduation\">RSVP for Graduation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students will be emailed an RSVP link.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"senior-survey\">Senior Survey<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students will complete a survey before the graduation ceremony. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ncst-mini-story ncst-askew-media-text has-aqua-400-background-color mirror-layout\"><div class=\"ncst-askew-media-text__container\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-ncst-text-column\"><h2 class=\"ncst-text-column__heading\">NC&#160;State Bookstores Graduation Fair<\/h2><p class=\"ncst-text-column__teaser\">Near the end of every semester, representatives from&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/campusenterprises.ncsu.edu\/wolf-xpress\/\">Wolf Xpress<\/a>&nbsp;(graduation announcements),&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.balfour.com\/ncsu\/\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.balfour.com\/ncsu\">Balfour<\/a>&nbsp;(class rings),&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/ncsubookstore.universityframes.com\/eframe\/Welcome.asp?reid=161\">University Frames<\/a>&nbsp;(diploma frames), and more will be available to answer your graduation questions.
