The Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics organizes road trips every semester for ABM students. The tours expand students’ professional network and make connections for internships. The road trips allow students to visit business leaders and receive behind-the-scene tours of agribusinesses. The tours often includes visits with Agricultural Business Management alumni at their businesses.
The bus leaves early in the morning and returns in the evening. There is no cost to participants. The trips give ABM majors an opportunity to get to know each other and faculty members in an informal setting. Agribusiness leaders, government officials, and CALS and NC State administrators often go along on the trips. Dr. Rich Bonanno, Associate CALS Dean and Director of the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service, is a frequent participant.
Please consider joining the next trip. For details about upcoming trips, please email Robin Clements.
