Margaret is an East Carolina University alumna where she received her B.S. and M.A. in history. Her concentration and interests included military history and US-Middle Eastern politics which she was able to put to good use when working as a contractor overseas. While working as a program manager at Army education centers in the Middle East and Africa she taught U.S. History to deployed soldiers. Margaret has since returned to higher education administration which is the field she enjoys and wishes to continue working in.
Margaret started working at NC State in 2015 and is excited to learn new skills in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics. She will be publishing news posts on the website highlighting the department’s achievements and spotlighting the faculty and students as they engage in extension, research, teaching, and learning. She will also be responsible for the monthly newsletter, maintaining the department vehicle, issuing keys, and ordering supplies.
