Sasha Naumenko is a doctoral student in Economics at NC State University and received Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Economics from Penn State. Her primary fields of interest are environmental, resource, and energy economics. As a research assistant for the NC Sea Grant, she was involved in research evaluating the socio-economic impact of fishing quota changes. Her dissertation is aimed at evaluating the value of recreation at the United States’ East and Gulf coastlines using travel cost methodology. Currently, she is an intern at RTI International, where is working on various projects pertaining to Carbon Accounting.
