Dr. Tom Vukina Attends International Food Marketing Research Symposium in Dubrovnik

Dr. Tom Vukina recently attended the International Food Marketing Research Symposium in Dubrovnik, Croatia from June 14th-16th to present his paper entitled, “Substitutability between Organic and Conventional Poultry Products and Organic Price Premiums.” The symposium was organized by the Institute of Food Products Marketing which “hosts conferences around the world in order to provide a forum for the advancement of the discipline of food marketing. It has also become one of the best forums for collaboration among researchers engaged in multidisciplinary research in food marketing.” Eve Soha Oh, a PhD candidate in our department, co-authored the paper with Dr. Vukina.

Dr. Vukina also presented a paper entitled “Sorting into Contests: Evidence from Production Contracts” (co-authored with Zhen Wang) at the Society of Labor Economists Conference 2017 which was held in Raleigh from May 5th-6th, 2017.
