Thirty-Nine Grads Turn Their Tassels

Thirty-nine students from the agricultural business management program graduated on December 14, 2021. The ceremony, led by undergraduate coordinator John Russ,  included a college welcome from senior associate dean Harry Daniels and a keynote speech from professor emeritus Michael Walden. About a third of the cohort has reported they are already employed while several students will continue their education in graduate school.

Meet a few of our graduates.

After graduation, Hannah will begin her professional career as a sales support specialist at L&M Companies here in Raleigh, NC. Hannah graduates with Summa Cum Laude honors and represented the department as an ARE Ambassador for two years.
Dustin is from Oxford, NC. During his time at NC State, Dustin interned at the Oxford Tobacco Research Station. Dustin enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with friends and family.
Alania is from Selma, NC. After graduation, Alania plans to work as a vet assistant at Johnston Animal Hospital. In her free time, Alaina enjoys playing disc golf and reading.
