The AHS department works across the functions of extension, research, and teaching to serve students and stakeholders. We believe that integration of extension, research, and teaching advances effective and impactful learning, discovery, translation, application, and engagement. <\/span>Our programs have long empowered graduates to become leaders — serving others for the overall education, health and well-being of society.<\/span> The department currently offers a master’s degree program with four concentration areas, one doctoral degree program and five certificates. We provide strong mentoring for graduate students, with personalized attention given to accepted students.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Our <\/span>faculty<\/span><\/a> study an impressive combination of topics, including community and youth development; Extension education; and agricultural education, along with contemporary issues facing the nation and beyond.
