Under the supervision of Dr. Virginia Stage, Ryan serves as a graduate assistant and is currently conducting research for More PEAS Please! This research examines the impact of food and nutrition as a teaching tool in preschool classrooms and measures science understanding and dietary impact on children.<\/p>\n<p>Ryan began his postsecondary education at NC&#160;State where he received his degree in Nutrition Science in 2017. Shortly afterwards, Ryan joined the US Army where he served for 4 years as an airborne infantryman. He resumed his education when he attended the University of Padova in Italy for his masters degree.
