CASE Institute provides important background related to inquiry-based pedagogy used in CASE curricula and practice teaching lessons to prepare classroom instruction. The goal is to implement a national curriculum for secondary agricultural education that provides high-level educational experiences to enhance the rigor and relevance of agriculture, food and natural resources (AFNR). CASE also offers purposeful enhancement of science, mathematics, and English language understanding.

The CASE concepts are taught using activity-, project-, and problem-based instructional strategies. The program ensures quality teaching by providing extensive professional development leading to certification. CASE curriculum is designed to promote common understandings of agricultural concepts. Instruction based on common concepts provides opportunities for meaningful and valid assessments of agricultural education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the 2024 NC State CASE Animal Science<\/strong> Institute, the North Carolina Tobacco Trust Fund Commission is providing teacher support in the amount of at least $2500 per North Carolina teacher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
