NCECA Provide Masks to Citizens Across NC

The North Carolina Extension and Community Association (NCECA) has provided non-medical grade masks to protect citizens across the state of North Carolina. These homemade masks can be used to cover reused, professional, medical grade masks. The community impact has been astounding. Members of NCECA have been donating masks in their local communities and shedding light on the fact that medical workers are not the only ones in need of masks; local grocery store clerks, postal workers, sanitary workers, electricians, adult residential community residents and staff, day care workers, Cooperative Extension staff, neighbors, relatives and friends need them too.

“For over a hundred years, North Carolina Extension and Community Association (NCECA) has work alongside Extension meeting the needs of North Carolinians. In this COVID-19 pandemic, they once again rise to the occasion utilizing their skills and state-wide reach to provide protection for growers, customers, skilled care facilities.” Geri Bushel, NCECA State Advisor
