Dr. Travis Park, Associate Professor of Agricultural and Extension Education here at NC State University, in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, was selected as one of the 2018 National Teach Ag Champions this year. This prestigious position recognizes teachers who encourage, inspire, motive, and mentor students interested in careers and other opportunities in agricultural education. Dr. Park’s mentorship in and out of the classroom, as well as his active involvement in various Teach Ag activities,  earned him recognition at the National Teach Ag Day celebration, which took place on Thursday, September, 20, 2018, at the Corteva Agriscience Agriculture Division of DowDuPont headquarters, in Johnston, Iowa.
