Department Of Genetics

Undergraduate

A new undergraduate major in Genetics has been proposed by the Department of Genetics and approved by the NC State University Board of Trustees. The proposal is now being considered at the state level by the UNC General Administration. The earliest the degree would be approved is late in 2009. If the degree is approved by the end of the fall term, current NCSU students who would like to transfer their major could do so during the 2010 spring term. Information on the degree requirements will be posted on this site as soon as the degree is approved. Any questions about the degree should be directed to the Director of Academic Programs, Dr. Stephanie Curtis.
