Karen (Maria C. Merchante) has been awarded a Marie Curie/University of Malaga U-Mobility Postdoctoral Fellowship for her project "The role of translational regulation in plant hormonal responses". As
a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellow Karen will work for two years in the lab of Dr. Jose Alonso and then move to Spain for one year to work in the laboratory of Dr. Victoriano Valpuesta in Malaga.
The highly competitive U-MOBILITY programme supports up to 12 postdoctoral fellows to carry out a research project that will take place in two phases: an outgoing phase of 18 to 24 months in a host research centre outside of Spain, and a return phase of 9 to 12 months at the University of Malaga.
