North Carolina State University - Department Of Genetics

The Department of Genetics consists of a highly interactive group of scientists with foci in quantitative, developmental and computational genetics. The department also administers outstanding undergraduate and graduate training programs in genetics, partly supported by an NIH training grant on ’The Genetic Architecture of Quantitative Traits’.

Department Of Genetics

Graduate

Through departmental and faculty-funded research assistantships, and University and other fellowship programs, the Genetics Department has funding opportunities for qualified applicants to the Graduate Program. Supplemental funding is also available from the NC State University Graduate School Diversity Programs for individuals from under-represented groups.

Current graduate student support packages can include a stipend, tuition, and health insurance.
