More than 300 students representing 37 colleges and universities throughout the country converged on the N.C. State campus in early January for the 2008 National Agricultural Ambassadors Conference, hosted by the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences’ own CALS Ambassadors.
Student ambassadors participated in professional development seminars, panel discussions led by industry leaders and faculty presentations on topics such as biofuels and sustainable agriculture. Students also led workshops on a variety of topics that tied in to the conference theme, “Take Root. Grow Today. Lead Tomorrow.”
