Publications Information
The Communication Services Publications Catalog lists those titles currently available. Ordering procedures vary. Some publications are not distributed by Communication Services and may be found through various departments.
Copies of publications can be found at each of the 100 county offices of the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service. Extension Field Faculty are available at those locations to assist citizens.
The North Carolina Agricultural Chemicals Manual can be purchased by sending payment to the Communication Services Publications Office.
The cost of the 2008 Agricultural Chemicals Manual varies with the number of copies ordered:
1-4 copies - $23 each
5-19 copies - $20 each
20 or more copies - $19 each
Ordering Procedures
For the general public:
Free Publications
Any North Carolina resident may have up to 5 copies of free publications at no charge. There is a charge for multiple copies of a single publication or for additional titles. This charge depends on the publication. Prices are listed in the Publications Catalog. Payment for additional publications must accompany the order.
Persons from other states
People from other states may receive one free publication at no charge. There is a charge for additional copies or titles. Prices are listed in the Publications Catalog. Payment for additional publications must accompany the order.
For-Sale Publications
Certain publications are offered for-sale only. All for-sale publication requests must be accompanied by payment. NC State University accepts cash, checks or money orders.
Orders from foreign countries
For all publication orders (free or for-sale publications), the buyer must pay for postage in addition to the publication cost. Payment must accompany the order. Payment must be made in U.S. currency. For information on the cost of a publication, e-mail publications@ces.ncsu.edu.

- Orders placed from within the United States include shipping.
- Payment must be complete and accurate. NC State University is unable to accept partial payment or payment in excess of price.
